From the exhibition “Tvíhyggja,” where the subject of “duality” was touched upon. Our lives are built up of moments that be- come our story. Does it really matter in what form they appear? This painting refers to the “war years” in Iceland. But also things that symbolize Iceland to me, like the candy “Opal.”
