From the exhibition “Tímaflóð,” this acrylic painting tackles the concept of aging and death. The Icelandic lava depicts the roughness of mother nature that we all return to, but the comfort of curling up in a mound of moss gives the impres- sion of it being a soft, calm and restful place to go.
